Product discovery, guided gear selection and an enquiry-led store experience for individual players across India.
AVSA Sports brings the Mumbai sports business to individual players nationwide. Cricket is central to its offering, alongside equipment across a wider range of sports and authorised brands.
Online customers need some of the guidance they would get across the shop counter: which equipment fits their sport, skill and budget. The brief calls for a separate consumer experience without losing the shop’s credibility.
The Gear Finder is a custom plugin, not a generic chat box. It builds a product candidate set around sport and budget, requests structured advice, resolves returned items against WooCommerce products and applies visitor/site request limits.
Customers get guided discovery linked to actual published products; staff still confirm availability in enquiry mode.
The Arena selector, sport/category hero videos, brand/category views and generated mega menus create multiple browsing routes. Product and taxonomy changes invalidate menu caches.
The experience can evolve with the catalog without manually rebuilding every navigation panel.
The theme implements authorised-brand restrictions, a custom product template and enquiry mode. Homepage controls let the owner edit key content, while the article importer supports bringing the existing editorial work across.
The store reflects the business’s dealer relationships and launch process, while keeping routine content changes with the client.

Implementation depth is verified in the AVSA repository. The homepage sport count is a public-site snapshot. Enquiry conversion, revenue and AI-assisted sales gains require measured evidence and are not inferred.
